This policy explains what information SpinMyPlate collects and how we use it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Information that stays on your device
Your dishes, restaurants, shopping list and recent spins are saved in your own browser. They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
Information you send us
When you share a dish or menu, we receive what you type in the form. When a restaurant applies to be listed, we receive the restaurant's details, the contact person's name, phone number and email, and the uploaded kosher certificate. We use this information only to consider what you sent and to contact the restaurant about its listing.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to keep the site running and secure. Our fonts are served by Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when a page loads.
Links to other sites
SpinMyPlate links to other services, such as Google Maps and WhatsApp. Those services have their own privacy policies.
What we don't do
We do not sell or rent your information. You don't need an account to use the site.
Children
SpinMyPlate is meant for adults planning meals. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
